Workshop Details

"Leadership is intangible, hard to measure, and difficult to describe. Its quality would stem from many factors. But certainly they must include a certain measure of inherent ability to control and direct, self-confidence based on expert knowledge, initiative, loyalty, pride, and a sense of responsibility. Inherent ability obviously cannot be instilled, but that which is latent or dormant, can be developed. Other ingredients can be acquired. They are not easily learned. But leaders can be and are made."

General C.B. Cates, 19th Commandant of the USMC

Catalyst has teamed up with Command Presence LLC to offer this provocative and stimulating addition to our Leadership that Works™ series of workshops and seminars. Facilitated by dynamic Marine Corps Officers Richard Rierson and Dana Arenson, both of whom are skilled Marine pilots and Aircraft Commanders, this session is sure to excite, inform and instruct — the Marine Corps Way!.

Workshop Objectives :

Participants in the Command Presence Seminar will walk away with a greater awareness of the practice of leadership. They will also learn what it takes to develop their own Command Presence. Topics to be covered include:

  • Knowing the meaning of Command Presence, why it is important, & how it is developed.
  • Understanding that leadership is common sense, within reach of anyone with the desire to learn and lead.
